Age: 5
Height: 41" (3'5")
Weight: 36.4 lbs

Personality:
Kikyo has always been the shyest and quietest of the bunch. Though she is friendly with people she is familiar with and, when feeling secure, can be just as goofy as any other young child, she tends to shy away from strangers and finds it somewhat difficult to make new friends. She is, however, fairly good friends with Miroku and Sango's youngest daughter, Ushio, who is about half a year older than Kikyo and much more social. Kikyo depends a lot on her to make introductions to unfamiliar children, not that Ushio really minds. She also often hangs out with her big sister, Izayoi, and their cousin, Mikomi. Kikyo is also very close to her mother, Kagome, and naturally seeks her out when she's scared or frightened. She had particularly bad separation anxiety issues as an infant carrying over into early toddlerhood.

Unlike her two older siblings, Kikyo does not have dog ears; the only indication of her demonic heritage is her golden eyes, which are much less noticeable as a "strange" trait. Because of this, she doesn't always get as much immediate prejudice from others as Michi and Izzy do, but she does still get some from those who know who her parents are. Being younger, she doesn't "hide" her hurt as well as Michi can and she's not as iron-nerved as Izzy to stand right up to the accuser. Light jabs upset her, but she can usually sit through them with nothing but an angry expression and mild embarrassments. Harsher teasing often drives her to tears and even shame, hiding herself in her room with her stuffed animals until her parents can convince her to come out. She does have a light stubborn streak, however, and the convincing can be difficult.

A true introvert, Kikyo is more of a dreamer than a doer. She has a huge, very active imagination and she loves to make up stories and scenarios which she will often tell to her parents and siblings (even if certain siblings get sick of hearing them from time to time.) She's quick to volunteer to make up a story to tell when either parent says "no" to bedtime story requests. Sometimes she tries to draw out some of her stories on paper; she very much enjoys spending her time coloring pictures with her adoptive brother, Shippo. Sometimes she gets a little lost in her fantasies; the lines between imagination and reality blur in her mind. Unlike her cousin, Mikomi, whose busy imagination is very blurred and jumbled and needs to talk through her issues, Kikyo can generally manage to stay in her mind when she works out her problems.

Kikyo does have a tendency to be very opinionated and have her own ideas about things, but she usually keeps these opinions and ideas to herself, too shy to share most of them. There's a lot more going on in her mind than she usually lets on. Like her elder sister, Kikyo can get very defensive about her own ideas and doesn't really like being told what to do. Unlike Izzy, however, if Kikyo disagrees with the group decision, she's more likely to just go off and follow through with her ideas on her own than fight for them with the group...but when she does fight for them, it's with an iron hoof: she gets incredibly stubborn.

Her favorite toys are by far stuffed animals and likes to play with any that are in the house, regardless of whether they belong to her or a sibling. Sometimes minor fights break out over which animals belong to who, but they generally don't escalate too far unless the opposer is in a bad mood as the others kids aren't quite as attached to the animals as Kikyo is.

Wardrobe:
Default: Purple kimono with floral pattern and apron.
Alternate: Purple kimono with a darker apron.
Pajamas: A sky blue button-up flannel pj shirt with matching pants and printed cloud pattern, or a similar darker blue shirt and pants with various stars.
Modern: A blue dress and a pink one with a strawberry printed on the pocket. The pink dress matches Izzy's watermelon outfit.
Hoodie: Red hoodie with cream sleeves and a fox face on the front. Also has fox ears. She likes wearing this with the hood up; it makes her feel like she "matches" her older siblings.
Summer: Soft yellow vest-like kimono, decorated with warm pink sakura flowers. Red sash ties in the back.

Stuff She Owns:
Crayons and brush: Kikyo's favorite artsy tools. The crayons she gets from her grandmother's house during yearly visits and shares with Shippo, but she also has an ink brush from her native time which she also uses.

Kitzu: Derived from the term "kitsune", this stuffed fox is Kikyo's #1 favorite toy. She drags him around everywhere and refuses to go to sleep without him. He also tends to be her "comfort object"; something she squeezes or cuddles up to when scared or upset, especially when she finds herself hiding in her room after a bout of being teased. She's convinced that Kitzu is "alive" and can talk, but that only she can hear him. Her family and friends hear a lot of "Kitzu says..." or "Kitzu doesn't like that" or even, when faced with trouble, "Kitzu did it!" Essentially, she has a rather Calvin&Hobbes-type relationship with this toy.

Adult:
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 109 lbs
Occupation: Housewife
Husband: Currently unnamed. But he does exist.
Children: Three sons and one daughter.

Kikyo never did leave her native village. Her days and days spent doodling with Shippo payed off in the end and she was able to make a small income doing commissioned paintings for some of the villagers (and, a bit later in her life, for people of other villages, as well.) She was the first of her siblings to get married (though not all of them did) and she eventually had four children of her own. She was an understanding and gentle mother and often brought her kids over to see their grandparents, aunts, and uncles. She lives a fairly normal village life, which she is 100% ok with.

Other:
-Kikyo does NOT have claws or fangs.
-She also does NOT have any demonic powers. In fact, her youki levels are the lowest of all her siblings.
-She ties with Kiotsu as the most human-looking of the children.
-Kikyo was born two weeks early and, though she wasn't quite "premature", was by far the smallest newborn. She gave her parents quite a scare with that, too, especially Kagome, who, having grown up in the modern era, knew about many of the complications and problems that could come with an early birth. Nervous for their newborn's life, and upon Kagome's desperate suggestion, she and Inuyasha went through the well as soon as possible to see if Kagome's mother could have Kikyo checked at the hospital. They got her there all right, and sure (and luckily) enough, everything was ok.
-Kikyo is exactly seven weeks and three days younger than her cousin, Mikomi. Needless to say, they're quite close.
-She wears a little bunch of her hair in a small wolftail held by a purple bow.
-She is very attached to Kitzu, though other stuffed animals she tends to be seen with are Izzy's purple dog and Michi's orange cat, among others.
-Yes, she is named after her mother's preincarnation. Wondering why? Go here!

Kikyo's a bit like me. I'm more of a dreamer, too.
