Speaking of, despite the fact that I have him listed as an adoptive brother in their bios, I'm not really sure if the InuKag kids would view Shippo as a brother or an uncle or what. On one hand, I think that Shippo and Kagome have a bit of a mother-son-esque relationship, not to mention Shippo aging so slowly and therefore still being a young child himself makes him more like a brother. On the other, I think Shippo's relationship with Inuyasha is more brotherly than father-son and that he looks at Kagome more as simply playing a motherly role than actually becoming his adopted mother, which would give him more of an "uncle" role to the kids. Then include the fact that he's not always around due to fox demon training (for increasing periods of time as he moves up in rank and therefore on to more advanced magic, as my headcanon goes) and it makes him seem more like and uncle....buuuuut the fact that he's so young still leans more towards brother. Maybe cousin of some sort? :/

Eh. At any rate. This picture says brother, the old one said uncle...let's just say he's an unspecified family member. They definitely consider him part of the family, but perhaps exactly what relationship-title fits him best doesn't really matter as long as he's loved and included.

This little scene of sorts takes place in summer 1554. Michi is two (just a few months shy of turning 3) and Izzy is somewhere around 7-8 months.

Shippo is taller than he should be, mostly to keep similarities to the original version. I really should just decide for good how tall I want him to be and when one of these days. XD
