Personality:
Yukio is a very happy, social little boy who loves to play and goof around. Though not quite as outgoing as his big sister, Izayoi, he enjoys making new friends and thinks of no one as the enemy until they show otherwise; very much a "innocent until proven guilty" mindset. He likes to help his friends, to whom he is very loyal, and he is what many of the village women would call a "total sweetheart".

Yukio generally isn't afraid to speak his mind, but sometimes holds back on his opinions to avoid hurting people's feelings. Like Michi, he doesn't like negativity and only resorts to physical fighting when he or a friend/family member is somehow threatened (of course, as a child, his idea of "threatened" wasn't always a mature one, sometimes getting into scuffles over rather trivial insults.) Yukio has a rather strong sense of justice. He likes things to be played fairly and hates when other children, especially his siblings, cheat at games. Like Michi, he has a tendency to root for the underdogs and wants to see the bullies get what's coming to them.

Yukio does tend to get odd looks because of his silver hair and, for those who can detect it, his traces of youki, but he ignores most of these glances. He generally doesn't get involved with such things until something is either spoken or done. He'll try to stand up for his siblings to the best of his ability and on rare occasions with particularly mean/prejudiced people, he does get physically harmed from it. He's not one to give up, however, and will keep going until he is made to stop by his parents or an older sibling or friend, hating to see the bullies get away. Some see this trait as nobleness; others, foolish stubbornness and recklessness.

At home, Yukio is a total mama's boy. He's generally quick to listen to Kagome (unless he's in a bad mood) and likes to try to make her happy. This tends annoys some of his siblings, though, who sometimes think that he's only doing it to be rewarded, referring to him as a bit of a "goody-goody suck-up". Yukio rightfully denies their insults, even if they don't listen; he genuinely likes to make people smile. He's also very curious, asking all sorts of odd and seemingly random questions about nearly everything he sees.

Yukio was never quite as impressed by Tessaiga as Michi was, but he was always amazed by his father's natural strength, speed, and other more natural demonic abilities. He often asked to see his father fight a demon without the great sword for once (not knowing about the whole demon blood issue), but of course, Inuyasha always refused unless is was a really low-threat youkai or oni. He was also very amused by Shippo's fox tricks and gimmicks, always requesting to see new ones when the fox returned from training.

Yukio looks up to Michi the same way Michi looks up to Inuyasha. He completely admires his older brother and wants to be just like him. He likes to follow him around and be involved with all his games and adventures. Yukio gets a lot of his mannerisms from Michi.

Wardrobe:
Default: Orange shirt with dark pants and a matching obi. Yukio hates tucking his shirts in.
Pajamas: Green footies (his "turtle jammies"), blue footies with small yellow stars, and red sweatshirt/pants with dog prints on the pants. The buttoned flap of the "turtle jammies" covers the zipper.
Modern: Striped orange t-shirt and jeans. Red sneakers.
Hoodie: A red hoodie with a white pawprint and the word 犬 (dog). (Yukio was born in the year of the dog, abeit and the very end of said year.)
Summer: Orange shirt with darker pants. Obi ties to the side.

Stuff He Owns:
Gloves: Made of carefully-handled oni hide, Yukio's fingerless gloves (which he receives in his teen years) more or less preform the opposite function of Michi and Izzy's rosary: they enhance his youki, allowing him to channel it into his hands and punch or scratch with a strength level higher than that of your average human (though not quite that of a demon). He's also considered trying to get something similar for his feet to see if it would enhance his speed at all, though if it did, he could wear both them and the gloves, but he'd only be able to use one at a time as he doesn't have quite enough youki to channel into enough into both at the same time to make a big difference in his abilities.

As he grew older, Yukio, unlike his brothers, became somewhat interested in becoming a samurai. He never did fulfill this wish in the end, as he could find find no nearby "army" that would accept a quarter-demon and his own village did not have one. He did sometimes hang around and watch others train from a distance, though, and after a while, his goal began to fade. He had previously thought of the samurai as noble warriors fighting their enemies, but in his observations, he realized that they were sometimes just as rough with each other (though in a more joking manner) as they were with their enemies. Uncomfortable with such a mindset, Yukio gradually gave up on the idea. He instead protected his native village and others with the help of his gloves. Though he remained living in his native village, he traveled often, enjoying new sites and people and helping those who would let him. He learned a bit of basic healing from his sister and mother, which sometimes came in handy on his journeys, especially in the case that he'd get into a fight with bandits or other small groups of "evil" humans. His refusal to give up a fight in which he protected others eventually became his downfall. When he was quite a bit older, he was stubbornly warding off a group of younger bandits, who knocked him down several times. He got up again each time it was physically possible, but those times ran out. He died as he lived: helping those in need.

Other:
-Yukio does NOT have fangs or claws.
-He actually does have very basic demonic powers, though they generally have to be channeled through his gloves if he wants it to be very effective.
-He has the most youki out of his siblings. In fact, it's enough that even without the gloves he can channel it into his hands, but it alone doesn't improve his strength much and he cannot preform any true demonic attacks like his father's Sankon Tessou. He could probably wield Michi's Hitogaken safely in he wanted to.
-He's the only one of his siblings to have silver hair.
-He was also the only one to be born in the modern era; he was born during his family's annual New Year's visit.
-He also happened to be born in the year of the dog (albeit at the very end of said year).}
