Holiday Commission Sale 2018 [Closed]

Hello folks! Thanksgiving has ended and the Christmas season has begun, and you know what that means! That's right--it's time for the annual sale on badges and flatcolors!

All the rules for regular commissions do apply, plus a few rules/restrictions specific to this sale:

:bulletred: ONE CHARACTER per image
:bulletgreen: Environments not available
:bulletred: Flatcolor only - shading not available
:bulletgreen: Since this is a holiday sale, drawings will come with Christmas elements by default (things like Santa hats, candy canes, etc.) However, you can request not to have these. : )

If you would like a different kind of image, such as one with multiple characters, with shading, or in an environment, regular-priced commissions remain open during this sale! But the price reduction only applies to badges and fullbody flatcolors that fit the above rules.

That said, let's get on with the options!

Bubble

I have a bubble.

My bubble is safe, reliable, and comfortable. 

But it can also be rather stagnant. 

Having just graduated college, I stand at the cusp of my future, of my adult life. It’s all in my hands now. That notion is both thrilling and terrifying—so much so, that it becomes overwhelming, and to avoid the intensity, I retreat back into my bubble.

And sometimes, in my bubble, I can forget. I can ignore. I can content myself.

But the bubble’s walls are clear. 

It doesn’t stop me from seeing others move on. From seeing others jumping into careers, finding happy relationships, and even starting families of their own.

And it reminds me that while my bubble is comfortable, it’s still stagnant. 

If I want to grow and evolve my life, I need to step outside the bubble.

But that

is

hard.

My bubble is safe. I like my bubble. I know exactly what to expect from it, and it’s easy to maintain.

Stepping outside the bubble is risky. It requires work. Energy. Willpower. Even sacrifice. 

Sometimes I can do it. For a moment or two. And I can get a glimpse of going somewhere, and it almost feels exciting. It almost feels peaceful. 

…until, inevitably, it overwhelms again.

Excitement wears off, anxiety creeps back in and I become enveloped again. As I retreat back into my bubble, and through its translucent film the glimpse I had before becomes distorted by insecurities. 

The bubble is safe, but it is stagnant.

Leaving it is risky, but it’s the only way to grow.

But growth itself can be scary.

The only way to move towards fulfilling my potential is leaving the bubble. Facing the challenges it’s shielding me from—the ones I entered it wishing to hide from.

But that 

is

hard.

For now, I can only try.

LF: Lavender Male Slot

Hey peeps! I'm trying to get a lavender geno for a friend of mine. I have this lovely gal who I could breed:

Kirara 1294 by Shivali-Lorekeeper

But alas, I have no male to breed her with that would still give a decent chance at Lavender! At least, not that doesn't require a fertility ticket (I do have a Russian male but he's a Rag).

I can offer USD (in small amounts, no more than 15-20), art (EP or rolls), or we could even make it a split litter so long as I get PotL since I'm looking for something specific.

...alternatively, if you have a lavender geno you're willing to part with, you can offer that instead! I think a beige base would be best, though ivory might work. Umber or onyx will be too dark for the colors my friend is looking for though. Again, I can offer USD or art, or a slot to Kirara if you still want it.
